Recognizing a Drone
A Drone has a pale, muscular, roughly human-shaped body. The reveal puts Marcus in a desperate struggle with one inside a house, establishing how dangerous even a lone Locust soldier can be.[5]
| Enemy | Look for | Threat |
|---|---|---|
| Drone | Upright humanoid infantry, often carrying a gun. | Ranged fire or an unarmed rush. |
| Wretch | A smaller creature moving close to the ground. | Close-range pressure; the armored variant has a disorienting scream. |
| Boomer | A towering, bulky body with a heavy weapon. | Heavy firepower and high durability. |
How Drones close the distance
Armed infantry and elite enemies
E-Day expands the armed Drone roster with different tactics and weapon loadouts. Identify what an enemy is carrying as well as its silhouette: a gun-wielding Drone behind cover presents a different problem from an unarmed one sprinting toward you.[2][4]
Other Locust creatures have their own roles. The enemy field guide covers Wretches, Seeders and Reavers, including the Seeder’s exposed underside and the Reaver’s ability to climb into a firing position.[2]
Drones in Horde Siege
Horde difficulty and mission Poisons can raise enemy health and damage. As a run becomes more dangerous, the same kind of infantry can demand more ammunition and more coordination. Use the squad’s supplies and class abilities alongside your weapon fire.[6]
