E-Day uses simulated ballistics, so bullets take time to reach their targets. The developers describe leading moving enemies when shooting beyond a weapon’s effective range. At distance, follow the target’s movement and allow for that travel time instead of always placing the reticle directly over it.[2]

Scope sway adds movement to precision aiming. Shoulder switching lets you change the side from which you aim, helping you line up a view around cover. Together, these systems make your position and sightline part of setting up a shot.[2]

Start with Boot Camp for the controls, then use Combat Training to handle weapons on a multiplayer map with small Locust encounters. Combat Training supports four-player co-op, so friends can learn together before joining a match.[3]
