The invasion has a commander

The Coalition introduced Vraahk in the Gamescom story trailer and explained him in its September developer podcast. Campaign Design Director Raul Figueroa identifies him as a blight commander whose purpose on the surface is to destroy humanity.[1]

Vraahk and his elite force[1]
  1. Commander

    Vraahk

Injured in the Lambent War; brings the fight to the surface.

  2. Legion

    Scorched Legion

His elite units carry spikes and self-inflicted wounds.

  3. Encounter

    The same brutality

The legion conveys its commander's character even when he is absent.

Recognizing the Scorched Legion

The Scorched Legion is Vraahk's force. The developers point to protruding spikes and self-mutilation as its visual language, connecting encounters with the elite troops to the commander behind them.[1]

Use that description as an identification cue, not a promise that every elite enemy shares the same weapon, health or weak point. Those combat details need evidence from the specific unit or encounter.

From monsters to an organized army

The campaign's opening introduces Wretches before armed Drones and larger war creatures. A named commander gives that progression a face: Bravo gradually learns that the creatures are organized and equipped for war.[1][2]

Is General Vraahk the official title used by the developers?

The September developer interview calls him a blight commander. This page uses that directly verified role rather than upgrading it to general.[1]
