The first Seasonal Customization Pack is the Emergence Pack at launch. The remaining four arrive with their releases. The upgrade is useful if you already have access to the base game and want the extras; it is not a standalone copy of E-Day.[1]

The game’s normal release is October 6. Up to five days of early access is a Premium benefit. The official Premium Upgrade offer lists access through an owned base game or Game Pass Ultimate.[1]
The preorder bonus
PC, console, handheld and cloud
The native console release is Xbox Series X|S. Windows players can use the Xbox app or Steam, and Xbox also offers cloud streaming. Steam’s product description names Steam Deck, Xbox Ally X and Xbox Ally for handheld play.[1][4]
Is E-Day coming to PS5 or Xbox One?
The announced native platforms are Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC. A PS5 or native Xbox One version has not been announced.[1]
