The new launcher and shotgun are listed here as special weapons. The official text explicitly classifies the prototype Boomshot as heavy; it does not establish that every new weapon uses the heavy-carry rules.[2][3]

A heavy gun changes your movement budget

Carrying a heavy weapon slows you down, but E-Day allows most movement actions while it is equipped. Heavy guns can also be ripped from turret bases, giving Horde players another way to acquire battlefield firepower.[2]

Before removing a turret gun, check where your squad needs the firepower next. A fixed position may cover an objective, while carrying the gun may help a moving fight. Reassess the route with the slower carry speed in mind.

The Boomer guide covers the heavy gunner you face, including its low-health chainsaw execution. Horde Siege explains mission objectives and equipment decisions.

Place the Gut Puncher's explosion

Two detonation approaches described in the reveal[3]
  1. Quick fire

    Let the round explode

Use the launcher without holding the shot for a placed detonation.

  2. Hold

    Control the explosion

Hold the trigger to place the explosion behind enemy cover.

The September launch notes reduce the Gut Puncher's spare ammunition. Pick the shot for the enemy's position instead of assuming you have the beta's ammunition reserve; the notes do not publish the new reserve count.[5]

Imulsion shotgun or acid creature?

The Incinerator fires raw Imulsion. The June podcast separately identifies the Bile Frog as an acid-spitting Hollow creature, correcting the idea that everything being sprayed in the footage is Imulsion. The weapon and the creature's attack should not be conflated.[3][4]

Compare the close-range shotgun with the Gnasher and use the full Weapon Arsenal to choose a rifle or sidearm alongside it.
