An equipment call can become a team action
  1. NOTICE

    Name the immediate problem

A crowded approach, an exposed push, an overlooked target or a downed teammate gives the squad a concrete reason to use an ability.

  2. CALL

Tell the squad what you are doing

A short call helps teammates act on the opening. Pair your activation with a target, a route or a teammate's position.

  3. FOLLOW

    Use the window together

Keep the objective in view and reassess after the action. Practice timing in a familiar mission before changing several mods at once.

For class passives and squad composition, use Horde Classes. This guide focuses on the equipment decision.

Follow the slot milestones

Reported Horde Tactical Gear progression[2]
  1. CLASS LEVEL 2

    One mod slot

    First gear-slot unlock.

  2. CLASS LEVEL 9

    Two mod slots

    Second gear-slot unlock.

  3. CLASS LEVEL 16

    Three mod slots

    Third gear-slot unlock.

Game8 reports these unlocks separately for each class. Campaign slots instead come from Hard Cases. Its guide remains in progress; the other three ability cooldowns are not supplied.[2]

Keep your current class's level track beside the loadout. An unopened slot and an unequipped modification are different problems. In Campaign, pair this page with Hard Case routes and Supply Cache locations.

Read the current card before choosing a setup. These inspected cards establish their displayed effects; they do not establish the complete mod inventory.

Reload ResonanceKilling your Pulsed enemies grants a Perfect Reload.

Compare reach with reload utility. The visible slot counter describes this player's menu, not the complete inventory or a Horde unlock level. For the next equipment decision, keep Campaign Loadouts beside the actual card.

Compare the Injector cards

Two recorded Campaign modifications[6]
ModRecorded change
Burst CapacitorImproved Injector cooldown.
Retention BatteryIncreased Adrenaline time.

Compare a longer active window with recharge utility. These two cards do not establish a complete inventory, acquisition route or Horde unlock level. Keep Campaign Loadouts beside your current menu when testing a change.

Campaign Hard Case rewards

South of Bank of Tyrus · building exterior · mapAdrenaline Injector: Burst Capacitor; Sonic Disruptor: Retention Battery.

Disruptor is the guide’s #8 label; menu classification remains unverified.[7]

Another Injector mod slot is reported in the hotel lobby east of Residential District, after entering Octus Tribunal Muster Point.[7]

Make the location useful in your own save
  1. LOCATE

    Match the landmark

Open the linked source map and compare it with your current area. Keep the guide's numbering separate from the wiki checklist.

  2. CHECK

    Read your reward

After opening the case, inspect the reward and the matching device. Confirm which item or slot was added.

  3. REFIT

    Try the new setup

Use a Supply Cache to inspect your choices. Change one mod, then test it in a familiar encounter.

Guide numbering differs from the Hard Case checklist; follow landmarks. Opened reward screens and slot order remain unverified.[7]

Read the Injector's active window

Two published Injector examples[4]
ModEffect during Adrenaline
Fortifying CompoundImproved defense.
Reflex CompoundActive Reload grants a Perfect Reload.

The opening image is an actual review-playthrough menu. Its installed items and owned counters belong to that player's save; they do not establish a complete campaign inventory.

Where should I begin with a campaign setup?

Open Campaign Loadouts & Mods for the weapon, armor and gear comparison. Record your current choices, try one change in a familiar encounter, and keep the setup that helps you.

Additional reported effects

Game8 also lists Apartment SOS for Grounded Capacitor. This is a reported unlock, not a recorded reward screen.[8]

The source remains in progress. These guide reports do not establish a complete inventory or progression track.[8]

Compare the required action before choosing a change. For direct Campaign menu examples, use the Injector cards and Pulse Drone cards.

Reported Disruptor conditions

Game8 · Sonic Disruptor[8]
ModEffect
Vulnerability ResonanceYour Stunned enemies take more damage.
Energy ResonanceYour Stunned kills drop more Energy.
Healing ResonanceKilling your Stunned enemies heals you.
Incendiary EmitterDisruptor wave burns enemies.

Read these beside the in-progress guide reports above. Preserve the ownership condition when comparing a trigger: do not treat a rule about your affected enemies as a general reward for every squad kill. Campaign availability still needs a current card or acquisition record.
